Norns Special skills look awesome!

The best use of Norns special is against Dark & Holy heroes.

Defense teams like to utilize Dark/Holy Tanks & Flanks, which makes stacking Holy/Dark heroes on your team quite tricky. (Think Wing/Kage/Guin/Seshat/Wing, or Wing/Joon/Kunchen/Poseidon/Wing as examples)

Such a formation could be easily destroyed by a barrage of tiles after Norns’ Special.

Norns in Offensive raids

Norns Special really requires tile damage for maximum effect. (Because special skills don’t do extra damage according to elemental weakness/strengths).

It does make it easier to break a formation above with a 3-2 holy/dark formation, which is what Norns is really good at.

I don’t think Norns will be very effective in all situations you come across. Norns will be able to provide you with a high level of flexibility when forming teams, to make use of your strongest heroes in more situations.

You will need to plan ahead and strategize whether Norns would be able to add value to your team.

Norns in Defense

The secondary effect on Norns will largely be useless since all damage your defense team do is not affected by elemental weakness/strengths.

In this case, Norns will effectively be a Thorne on defense (with much weaker damage)… and you don’t see Thorne on defense all that often.

Norns against Titans

Norns MIGHT be useful in your team composition against titans if you do not already have a deep bench. (To allow you to bring your strongest heroes.)

Otherwise, Norns will simply fill a tile damage slot on your titan fight – which there are already many contenders for that position.

Don’t bother trying to do anything fancy with Norns against titans – you will end up wasting a lot of mana potions trying to keep Norn’s debuff active
